Today we explored different types of maps. After looking at all of the different kinds, what are some ways that maps are used? Which themes of geography can a map help you explore?
Geography is the study of the physical features of the earth. What landforms (types of land: ex. mountains, hills, plains, etc) and bodies of water (ex. oceans, rivers, lakes, etc.) do we have in New York State? Let's make a list!
